Boxes of chocolates are not my favorite. I prefer a trailmix of almonds, raisins, peanuts, and fiber sticks.
The spectacle of navigation still baffles me. We have moved, nay... bulleted from paper maps to real-time satellite programs that coordinate our sometimes ambitious expectations with our eventual reality. I'm a slave to technology, but a slave by choice. Even in the most simple mental map preparation, my first step invariably includes, "visiting MapQuest, printing directions". We are collectively re-allocating our brain resources to more pressing matters... for example, which restaurant to dine at (of course, via the AroundMe app). Simple beauty may now be more accessible to us all. It is our coined 'tech-slavery' that empowers us to decide more succinctly, and experience life most creatively.
I want to celebrate the roadtrip. Every turn (right or left) opens possibilities. Every moment enlightens us to a changing landscape, a 'refreshed' perspective. I am truly blessed to continue growing, each day anew.
