What is a hashtag?

A hashtag may be an emotional response; a connection to feelings past or future yearnings.
A hashtag can come at you from many angles; sometimes friendly, at others... not so.
A hashtag brings people together, connecting ideas through common interests.
A hashtag tears people apart, leaving the victor fearless & the former senseless.

Hashtags break down the pervasive cultural norms of yesteryear, perhaps forging a vision of openness and caring. Working the collective consciousness like a sculptor with her clay, these meshy boundaries function loosely as perpendicular jail bars. Needless to say, I have some reservations with their use, misuse & abuse.

Existentially, a hashtag may benefit a democratic society. Effectively implemented, bold in being, these warriors embody many communicative forms. Humor, tumult, creativity & virility come to mind when I ponder these spider webs; these phrases tangle and clarify [simultaneously] the blessings of & challenges we face as an increasingly digital people.

A micro-society has formed this semester. It includes, but is not limited to, students of learning: Meta-learners. #Forthegoodofthecause

I see value in developing a positive sense of these interlocking window panes. Perhaps the vision crystallizes when passing through the lens of the HT. Is it possible that these lines embolden our personal connection to courage & voice? Eh-ch Tee's crest the levies of our international culture, seeping ever-so-exponentially into those who have chosen this social adaptation. #Whoops

H.abits T.antalize some while H.ardening T.hose who tend to use their energy for hatred. I believe that birds fly to feel the wind in their wings, and followers H.T. to voice their vision-opinions. For me, this wordy revolution may develop a hashtag system of justice. #Karma

Words.Are.Privileged.

These forests grow...their leaves like tags. When the wind blows, you may smell the scent of a H.T. from far away; nevertheless, powerful.

So, what is a hashtag? It may be impossible to define as a rational function of collective behavior, but I am certain that with a little effort, the hashtag will continue evolving and daring the frontier of emotion, desire & written word. #toinfinityandbeyond
